Sexy Beats Musings

It’s noonish on a Saturday and I’m chilling on the couch listening to some sexy beats music I found on some of Destin Gerek’s Spotify playlists.  It’s a yummy vibe, vibrating in my chest and solar plexus.  Using deep, slow, measured breathing.  How long has it been since I really connected with my breathing?  Or my body?  Or presence?  Or felt the desire to just sit and be and write whatever thoughts and feelings come up?

Years.  It feels like years.

Years of having to focus on doing things for others – for my kids growing up, for my wife adjusting to living in a new country, for my financial security.  And recovery.

My adventurous heart still beats.  I bought a house in Pensacola, Florida and for the past year and a half I’ve been living a Jimmy Buffett escape lifestyle for a week to ten days every month.  It’s been expensive, taken a lot of time and energy, and life-changing, soul-opening.

And it’s led to other things.  What else new and “out there” can I try, for me?  And what else?  Who is this guy who has been under wraps for so long, doing what needs to be done, taking care of things and living a confined life?

I rediscovered my love for fishing during the pandemic.  Then I massively expanded that love into a new adventure in Florida, living my best fishing/beach life ever.  I got to third degree black belt Taekwondo and then thought “what am I doing this for?” and took a huge step back.  Doing things just to do them or “because it’s good for me” doesn’t fit anymore.  Something’s changed in me and the routine doesn’t work.  Doing nothing feels better.

Doing nothing ain’t bad if you do it right.  Bring a little intention into it and that nothing becomes something.  Bring a little more of myself into that conscious nothing and suddenly I have a cool, chill lifestyle.

And that brings me here.  Sitting on the couch, listening to some cool, sexy beats and just writing whatever shit comes out.  I’m not bored, just chill.  Not thinking about other things or what I should be doing, just chilling and letting it out, not thinking about what it means or trying to make it into something.

In fact I’m going deep into the not giving a shit about any of that.  Fuck trying to build anything or so something meaningful, I’m just sitting here chilling and writing about nothing and loving it.  I’m done complaining about California like I have no control over the situation.  I made my decision, the rest of the world can do whatever the fuck it wants, I don’t have to give a shit.  And right now, for once, I don’t, and it feels awesome.

I want to go deeper into this chill “not giving a shit,” let go of the angry, reactive anti-energy and just let go of giving a shit about anything, for me.  Let all that bullshit crumble and fall into the sea.  And we’ll see where this goes.

I feel a spiritual connection and a desire to further my practice, but embodied and natural, not the forced, formulaic shit.

Why is it I’m so much more deeply expressive on this blog, but the other one is mostly a picture blog?  It’s not bad, it’s just not a place where I express much in writing.  Do I still need this duality of expression?  Does that serve me?

Maybe I unconsciously feel like the “fish stories” are beneath the level of expression here?  But the Pensacola house experience and the “fish stories” have been life-altering and a spiritual awakening.  Maybe I need to stop being small in my expression and bring it all back home here, that the little Wordpress blog with little audience no longer really serves me?

I want to get really funky.  There are things out there that I was either afraid to try or which didn’t feel like me and now I see and feel myself enjoying that reality.  I want to get “out there,” get a little lost and maybe find a new home, find more of myself.

I've Been Hiding

I’ve been hiding.  I’ve been hiding my true message, my true feelings, because that message isn’t always consistent or appropriate and my feelings aren’t always good.

I’ve been hiding because I’ve been afraid – afraid some petty people who are prone to dislike me no matter what I do will pounce on anything I say and try to use it against me.  Afraid I’ll be doxed or publicly attacked because I have thoughts and feelings that don’t fit with the rigid conformist standards of today.

I’ve been hiding because I don’t want my “stuff” to interfere with my message, to get it the way of me just enjoying my life.  I don’t want others to be hurt because, God forbid, I might be hurting.  Or angry.  Or sad.  Maybe I don’t see the world the way others do and I don’t want to be attacked and suffer more because my thoughts offend.

I’ve been hiding because, maybe if I speak up, nobody will want to listen, and I’ll find out people really don’t care.

I’ve been hiding and it hasn’t made me feel safe.  It hasn’t made me feel better.  It just leaves me feeling angry, stifled, hurting, alone and bored.

The anger is from letting these things fester.  I don’t like feeling this way.  I need to release and writing is my release.  It’s time to let things out – stop worrying that I’m whining or being too personal, or that my haters will turn my words against me.  Fuck that.  I need this.

Everyone has their way and this self-imposed writers block is utter bullshit.

To my haters, fuck you. Really, fuck you.  You’re the most pathetic, petty, worthless people I’ve ever known.  I’m ashamed and embarrassed that I was ever close to people like you and couldn’t see your true self.  But anyone who goes through the trouble you do to try and make someone else a little unhappy is pathetic beyond help.  Really and truly pathetic.

The person sharing their feelings and thoughts isn’t the bad person.  The petty person trying to shut that person down at every turn – THAT’S the bad person.  Everyone has thoughts and feelings.  Good people know how to mind their own fucking business.  The bad people?  Well, that would be you haters.  So… enjoy wasting your time reading what I have to say and thinking whatever small, negative, petty loserific thing you want to think in that petty pea brain of yours.  There’s not a damn thing you can do about it, so if you want to waste the life God gave you following me around, it’s not my problem anymore.

But I do see you.  I know you’re there.  And we both know you’re completely pathetic no matter how you try to justify this in your mind.  (And what’s going on in YOUR mind?  Maybe you should share with someone…?)

That feels good.  I need to get this out.

I still feel this need to qualify my experience by sandwiching it between positive things, and I need to drop that, too.  I don’t need to say “My life is good, but…” I’m the one who lives this life – if it’s good enough for me, I don’t need to explain that to the rest of the world.

And no, saying I feel sad, or angry, or bored, or lonely, or confused, or empty or whatever doesn’t take away from the alchemy and magic I do.  If anything, it helps – there’s actually a real, normal human being in here living a normal life, and he’s far from perfect.  And yet I have some gifts I can use, there’s no contradiction here.

I have been hiding a lot.  Maybe I’m afraid if I say I don’t feel great all the time I’ll disappoint my mentors and followers.  But so fucking what?  It’s not anyone’s fault I have flaws and thoughts and feelings.  I never hired anyone to make my life perfect, or really even make it better.  That’s entirely up to me.  I came looking for skills.  Some things worked, some didn’t.  Okay.  And I say what I think about all that.  But in the end, I’m still a human being with the range of thoughts and feelings and experiences. No amount of mentoring or whatever is going to change that.

But this expression here doesn’t feel like me.  It feels like, well, someone hiding.  Someone looking over his shoulder.  Someone laying low, lest anyone find out he’s actually human.

And I think I owe you the reader an apology for that.  I haven’t been authentic.  I haven’t been open.  I had my reasons, but in the end you and I both deserve better.  This is my way of sharing.  I need this.  And you’re here because you need this, too.

I’m a man, standing on my own feet, full of flaws, full of feelings that go this way and that.  And full of light.  I look at my crystals I love so much and every one of them is flawed.  They are all jagged, have cracks and imperfections. It’s what makes them beautiful and powerful.  A fully perfect crystal is… fake.  Anything that comes from the earth, that comes from nature, is by definition imperfect.
So this is me, opening up.  Coming out of hiding.  Facing the possibility of attacks from haters and everything else.  Because I just can’t keep quiet.  I need to write, I need to share.  Even if I’m the only one reading this. I need to put this out there.

I can’t hide anymore.

My Thoughts on the Florida School Shooting - You Probably Won't Like This

My higher purpose is to further freedom and life.  The universe seeks expanded freedom.  The ego opposes freedom under the guise of safety, but it’s really about fear-based control.  Keeping this truth in mind helps to resolve many dilemmas.

It also helps maintain perspective when people present distortions.

My perspective on the social, political and media reaction to a school shooting goes through this truth.  And looking at this through that truth I can see that my original reaction – didn’t read a single news report about it and never stopped ignoring it until the social overreaction got on my nerves – was the right one.

When society goes off its nut, the best thing is not to look and to ignore it. Except when the idiocy boils over begins to run athwart of my higher purpose.  Then I have to punch back
.
So my take – the students brought their karma upon themselves and instead of acknowledging their own culpability and changing their abusive behavior, they have retreated into self-delusion, blame-shifting and social justice craziness.

That part doesn’t surprise me.  Kids were jerks when I was in high school too.  At my school, the “cool kids” created a “Shy Club” whose only purpose was to shame outcasts.  Really.  They made a tee shirt with the silhouette of an unpopular kid.  The kid later jumped off a building.  And the “cool kids” couldn’t have cared less.

Later in life I learned that the parents of the bullies are always aware of what their asshole kids are doing.  Most of the time they’re actively encouraging the behavior.  And sometimes actively engaging in the bullying themselves.

So it doesn’t surprise me a lot of the parents are joining the kids in their complete non-self-reflective, blame-someone-else, social justice railing.  Virtue signaling is a lot easier than examining one’s one virtue, admitting one’s failings and seeking to improve.  You know, being virtuous in the true sense.
It does surprise me the media and the grown-ups are largely going along with this.  Wait, actually it doesn’t.  The media and most politicians promote fear, not freedom.  They value the ego, not God.  So to see them going overboard trying to rid us of freedoms, and using a whitewashed version of a school shooting to do it, is about what I’d expect from our society.

Which is why completely ignoring all of this news really is the best choice.  Don’t engage at all.
Except for one big problem.  Statistically students don’t get killed in school shootings.  Thousands are bullied to death.  And what is going on now is going to result in more bullying, more oppression and more death.  The students and adults are showing their true colors – they love bullying, they want to see more kids kill themselves, they think the “Shy Club Kids” are funny and outcasts deserve to die, or be locked away.

Nobody wants to look at the real problem.  Nobody wants to examine their own karma.  Nobody cares about life or freedom.  Just ego.  All this media circus is about is protecting and worshipping ego at the expense of life and freedom.  No wonder I found it annoying.

The shooter, like a lot of these sort of high school shooters, was bullied pretty badly.  No, that doesn’t mean the students deserved to die.  That’s not how karma works.  Karma is the result of one’s thoughts and actions and has nothing to do with justice or fairness or any other misattribution we assign to karma.  “Karma is a bitch” comes closest to accurately depicting karma.  It’s the effect of the Law of Cause and Effect.  When Hiroshima was nuked, that was the residents’ karma.  That doesn’t mean dropping the bomb was right.  History strongly suggests it was the best of a lot of really bad options.  War sucks.  And the US has received its own karma for World War II, however noble its intentions were in that war.

So when I say the students brought about their own karma, I’m not saying the shooting was justified in any way.  I am saying, in a sense, it was inevitable.  And the students who created their karma are now doubling down on their bad karma.

No, most bully victims don’t kill.  They may kill themselves.  The huge majority move on.  Very evolved people can view their tormentors as a gift and grow from the experience.  But very few “very evolved people” are evolved as teenagers or children.

I have noticed that most people who are highly evolved were bullied or otherwise mistreated during their school years.  The cool kids rarely evolve, unless something else tests them.  In that sense the kids who suffer in school can have an advantage.  But also the most damaged and destructive people as adults were mistreated as kids.  And often the line between “highly evolved adult” and “damaged adult creating havoc in the world” is dangerously thin.  Learning to let go of one’s ego is the hardest lesson a person will ever learn.  The distance between “releasing ego” and “vengeance” is short.

Society has also created its own karma by valuing the ego, by supporting the bullies and “cool kids,” by shunning the kids who are bullied.  Society pays lip service to compassion, but in every way society celebrates human cruelty, bullying, and shunning the outcasts.  And society pays its price for this without changing its behavior.

Which gets back to my best advice – just don’t look.  Shun media.  Shun the mainstream news. If you want to cleanse your karma, you need to cleanse yourself of society’s karma through the mass media.
Those friends of yours who nod their heads and say the kids who get bullied “brought it upon themselves?”  Get rid of them.  Don’t argue, just cut them out completely.  And of course that goes double for parents of kids who bully – treat them like the toxic waste they are.    There’s no point in fighting, that just attaches you to their negative energy.  Avoid them entirely.

As far as gun laws and all the political BS – I don’t care.  It’s virtue-signaling BS driven by guilt, fear or greed.  Follow your heart, not your ego or the collective Ego.

Am I being harsh?  Maybe.  Am I lacking compassion for the victims?  Yes, but I don’t know any of them.  To say I have compassion for these strangers who show up on TV would be a lie.  I love all human life, whether it’s a student in Florida, a person in Syria, or the millions who suffer and die without any fanfare all over the world. These handful in Florida are no more important than any of the others.  The media is distorting the truth of the human condition, and in doing so actually DE-valuing human life.  But I’m callous for pointing this out?  Fuck that.  It’s media BS and as personally relevant to me as a dog barking in Kenya.

Human life is all around.  The media distorts it and dehumanizes it.  You want compassion, turn off the TV, get off the Internet, and go outside.  There it is.  Feel into your heart for the truth. And the truth is, in the larger picture of human life, what happened in Florida is a tiny crevice on a small grain of sand on the infinite scale of life.  Your life and mine are utterly meaningless to the universe.  That’s the truth. You want to really be connected to life?  Stop distorting it, stop listening to your ego, and listen to your heart.

And I guarantee your heart doesn’t have one word to say about some high school in Florida, unless you happen to live there or have family there.  And when you get to the heart of the matter, neither do I.

Food Police and Doubts About Our Evolution

I’m being told by the Archangels that the forces of freedom and energetic elevation are gaining strength.  Everything I sense and energy test confirms this.

But I have my doubts.  Obviously, this is the intent of the news media, but it goes beyond news media to people I know (or thought I knew).   The forces of oppression and spiritual death seem stronger than ever.

It finally got to the point I had to cull my social media and remove everyone and everything associated with the forces of oppression and spiritual death (and others who were simply deadwood).  It was quite a lot of people and groups.  My social media is better and I feel more open but part of me wonders if I’m not just sticking my head in the sand.

Certain flashpoints are particularly disturbing.  The food police is a big one – people who seem obsessed with telling everyone else what to eat and not eat.  Why would anyone care if someone else was eating sugar, or meat?  How can it be so important for you to be validated by other people when it comes to your eating?  And what the hell gives you the right to try to force people to choose your diet?  We’re talking about the most basic personal decision and the forces for oppression seem to be stronger than ever.

Diet is a personal decision.  Sure, if you have good information and resources, share the information.  But after that, people need to be free to make their own choices. That you don’t like other people eating meat, or sugar, or whatever, just shows you lack proper boundaries and have an inability to mind to your own business.  That’s a character flaw, not a noble cause.  It’s odd this has to be explained to so many people these days.  Eat what makes your body, mind and conscience feel best.  Seek and share information.  That’s all good.  Why can’t people just stop there?  Agree to disagree – why is this so damn hard for so many people?

We’ve got people who now want to regulate pets on the weird argument that owning pets contributes to global warming.  Really.  Whatever benefit you think you’re providing to the world by trying to control other people’s basic behaviors, that really shouldn’t be bothering you, is more than offset by the toxic energy you’re putting forth in trying to control your fellow human beings.

And it should be obvious trying to control people who aren’t hurting anyone is toxic.  People hate it, and they hate you for trying to impose on them.  As they should – oppressing others is wrong.  Duh.  The world would be better off if the people trying to control the basic behaviors of others simply killed themselves than tried to impose their will.  (Assuming they can’t, you know, just mind their own business like normal human beings.)  It’s one thing to stop people from murdering or stealing, it’s quite another to stop people from eating a hamburger or owning a dog.

I could possibly write off this sort of tendency to oppress as a mental disorder, but it’s too prevalent.  It’s more like a supervirus that’s infecting people at an alarming and ever-increasing rate.  It used to be people just knew you didn’t run around trying to take food off people’s plate or take away their dog. And the people who couldn’t mind their business were rightly seen as weirdos – disturbed people nobody took seriously. That kind of oppressive behavior was rightly considered sick.  Now it’s becoming the norm, not even considered extreme.  But it’s just as much of a sick illness as it ever was.  The only thing that’s changed is the percentage of people infected.

And it’s not just people in the news.  That can be explained by the distortions of the news media.  For example, the media created a false narrative that “police are killing black people in record numbers.”  We saw an explosion of videos of black people being shot by cops.  But the real data shows such police killings are at a record LOW.  The difference is explained (obviously) by the record number of people who own and operate video recording devices and easy access to sharing of videos.  So I can easily understand the disconnect between the media narrative (“Police War on Black People”) and the reality (lower crime, more professional policing).

But the control-freak illness is infecting people I know.  Real people. In ever larger numbers.  It’s not some nebulous “thing out there,” or some media distortion where people in Thailand think my house is on fire every time Southern California has a brushfire (I’m nowhere near fire country).  It’s real people I know who have become subjected to this madness.

It’s interesting.  As I write this, Etienne is writing about the challenges of “agreeing to disagree,” which is what this issue with food policing is all about.  You be vegan, I be omnivore.  I respect your lifestyle, you respect mine and we agree to disagree.  Easy peasy, right?  If I invite you to dinner, I’ll make sure it’s vegan and you don’t bother me about what’s in my fridge.  This is such a basic, basic aspect of “getting along with other people” it seems silly to even have to discuss this subject with anyone over the age of five.

Yet here we are, grown-ass people, getting in each others’ business because some people have a weird compulsion to rid the world of sugar and meat (which ain’t gonna happen) and apparently housepets.

Messing with someone’s dog used to be a really good way to get yourself shot.  And most juries would consider it justifiable.  Now it’s a political movement?  How fucked is that??

About as fucked as my having to drop friends because they value their personal opinions (on things they know little or nothing about) over connection and spiritual truth.  The even more fucked up thing is most of them consider themselves “spiritually evolved,” which apparently means “the cool kind of bigoted, oppressive asshole.”

And again, it’s not our differences of opinion that make them assholes, not at all.  I’m used to people disagreeing with me -it’s called a discussion, and it’s enjoyable.  But most normal people at the end of the day value their friendship over their need to have everyone validate their opinion every moment of the day.

Then Trump came along, and now for some people “having everyone agree with everything I believe” is THE most important thing in the world.  WTF?? People, your opinions don’t mean jack.  Neither do mine.  How you vote, whose president, this stuff matters little in the larger picture of things.  But if you’re someone holding yourself out as a spiritual practitioner and you’ve taken a hard stance for ego over greater connection, you’ve committed spiritual suicide.  That’s not Trump’s fault, that’s YOUR  decision.

But that’s exactly what so many people have done.  They’ve valued validation of temporal beliefs over the infinite. And at some point, I have no choice but to accept that “live and let live” has become a one-sided agreement and I need to let these people go.

And that brings me right back to my original thought – are we getting better?  How are we getting better?  How is Earth’s vibration rising when so many are falling in front of my eyes?  When supposedly conscious people are at the forefront of oppression and ego valuation, where is the evidence that confirms the planet is evolving and not devolving?

And the message I get back is “you’re too close to the problem to see the bigger picture.”  In other words “you can’t see it, you’re going to have to trust us and listen to your heart on this.”

So that’s where we’re at.  Earth is rapidly evolving, but apparently the forefront of that evolution isn’t in the West, and it certainly isn’t in California.  In fact things here will likely continue to rapidly devolve before they get better.

Until then, I’ll keep unfriending the food and pet police.

"Experiences" vs "Things": Maybe It Isn't Always a Choice

I don’t spend a lot of money on myself.  I’ve prided myself on this.  I have nice clothes with pretty good style, but I spend very little on clothes for myself.  I drive the same car I’ve owned for over ten years.  I rarely go out to eat and I own very little “stuff.”  I have some crystals (okay a lot), but they cost almost nothing.  I don’t own the tech “stuff.”  Occasionally I’ll spend for some training or something educational, and if I spend money for pleasure it’s generally on travel or experiences.
As I’ve been clearing out that “holding on” energy, I realize I’ve probably taken this too far and actually gone too cheap on myself, which instead of being frugal and life-nourishing is actually stifling my energy.  This weekend I spent a small amount to get some Bluetooth stereo equipment.  Some of it I kind of need for the car, because of the new laws (cheaper than one ticket, so kind of a no-brainer), and some just makes obvious sense.

I realized immediately a few things in doing that.  First, as I’m going deeper into Natural Grounding resources, I notice a huge difference in the quality of the experience with the higher-quality equipment.  When the sound is more rich and clear and surrounding, it deepens the level of experience.  Even lying on the couch at home listening to NG music feels different now, my body would absorb the experience instead of listening more passively.
It’s not like I splurged – the whole investment was considerably less than the cost of a usual long-weekend vacation.  But the payoff was immense.

I had songs in my phone I thought I was “sick” of and couldn’t listen to anymore.  But I was inspired to create another playlist with these long-forgotten songs and listened to them through the new speaker – it was like listening to them for the first time.
I also bought a few pieces of furniture – one of which I still need to assemble.  It makes a difference, it frees up the energy and brings some order to the chaos that develops in the apartment.

Because my value is on the experiential and not the physical, I tend to overlook the value that the physical can bring to the experience.  This weekend was a reminder that the physical can play a valuable role in enhancing the energy of the experience.  Being too frugal on the “stuff” could actually be short-changing yourself and the full value of the experience.
I should add also that the process of obtaining those “things,” and assembling the furniture, were valuable experiences in themselves. The entertainment value of the experience of waiting for my car stereo to be installed was worth a good fraction of the money I spent for the item, to say nothing of the listening and driving experience.  So maybe it isn’t a “things” vs “experience” duality as much as a challenge to be mindful of what “things” to bring into my life and how to integrate them with the experiential in a way that best serves.

Revelations from My Connections With My Feminine Past Lives

I found yesterday’s ritual had a significant impact on me as well.  My clairvoyance expanded and my connection to stillness and source is deeper and cleaner.
And after a day of integrating the experience with my past life memories, going through my day yesterday and noticing experiences and changes I want to write down a few insights around the understandings I’ve gained, which apply to others as well.
Women and men, at a fundamental soul level, are not that much different.  The feminine and masculine expressions are naturally different, but there’s nothing especially unique about the soul energy of a woman compared to a man – as far as I can tell and the feedback I’ve received, they’re exactly the same.
Which means, there is no such thing as “divine feminine” and “divine masculine,” there is only divinity, a unified divinity.  The expression is distinct and worthy of understanding and respect, because it carries with it the history and uniqueness of masculine and feminine, but above the bodily chakras there is no difference.
Instead of saying “divine feminine” and “divine masculine,” it would be better to say “the feminine/ masculine expression of the divine,” because that’s what we are in our human existence – an expression of the divine, one tiny facet of an infinite gem, yet each facet absolutely essential to the integrity and beauty of the whole.
We will reincarnate between masculine and feminine depending upon the wisdom our souls desire from such an experience.  Most souls have spent half their time as each.
The concept of “privilege” is an odd egoic concept that is currently holding back spiritual growth in a big way our souls chose this living expression for a reason and gain value from all the experiences that come with it.  To say one is “privileged” is to deny the worth of every other soul and place the (almost always materialistic and superficial) experience ahead of every other.  This is a spiritually dangerous path that can allow the ego to interfere with spiritual development to the point of spiritual retardation.
“Privilege” fosters envy and creates the illusion of a caste system.  The universe seeks freedom and values love.  The enemies of spiritual growth are things that restrict freedom, oppress, diminish healthy self-worth, kill, cause suffering or deny spiritual truth.  From this perspective, “class warfare” and the entire Marxist-based grievance system is entirely anti-spiritual, as it deliberately seeks to repress, kill and deny truth while embracing materialism, envy and hatred.
Basically, the entire Western political system, and most of the religious systems, are anti-spiritual, both on the left and the right.  And the philosophies supporting these systems are full of deceptions and spiritual lies.  Unfortunately most of the spiritual movement has been ensnared by the political system which has corrupted the spiritual teachings.  Some very obvious examples are people like Deepak Chopra and Moses Ma, but there are many, many others.  My Facebook feed is full of well-intentioned, spiritually-minded people who are badly ensnared in the Western political illusion.
On the “right,” spiritual people have also been ensnared (though more “politically correct” to attack than the “spiritual left,” though there is no difference as far as the levels of deception and spiritual entanglement).  Here we have many people who are good and spiritual in their personal lives but have given over their personal freedom to forces of oppression and deception.
In some respects the “Evangelical Christians” are more spiritually aligned with truth than the supposedly “free” “Spiritual Movement” people.  One of the key tenants of Evangelical Christianity is “don’t follow leaders, follow Christ,” which is very close to the spiritual foundation of freedom.  Meanwhile, the “anti-Christian Spiritualists” are running around looking for gurus – whether it’s the Dali Lama, Deepak Chopra, some shaman, coach, yogi, or whatever flavor of the week (this week Pope Francis is popular with spiritual sheeple, but he’s as misaligned as the others and full of ego and deception).
I’ve often found it’s easy to identify the spiritual oppressors – they’re the ones pointing fingers at everyone else.  (I say this with full self-awareness that I’m doing the same to some extent right now – I have a long ways to go myself on this journey, and I place a high personal value on irony.)
The victimist spiritual model that embraces the “privilege” talk (currently voiced by people like Pope Francis and most of “white people Buddhism”) is nothing more than Marxist political ideology dressed up as spirituality.  It’s a form of Satanism practiced by about half of the Cabal intentionally designed to deceive people into giving away their freedom and embracing oppression and death.  It embraces envy, disconnectedness, anger, fear and outward-looking.
The truth is our souls chose our current forms for a reason.  To say one person is “privileged” over another is to deny the inherent wisdom of the soul.  It’s certainly the case that some souls are more evolved than others and as such will attract more power in its various forms (though sometimes difficult to see).  But evolved souls always seek to use their gifts to leverage that power for maximum good for others.  Look at evolved souls like Albert Einstein and Henry Ford.  Buddha was born extremely wealthy and high-status; obviously his soul needed that “privilege” in order to carry out a purpose that has transformed the lives of millions.
That’s not to say oppressive forces and structures are okay, they’re not.  Oppression, hatred, fear, disconnectedness – these are the enemies of true spiritual evolution.  These enemies take the form of “political correctness,” statism, racism, sexism, bigotry, war, pollution, many forms.   Buying into the mindset that you are privileged, or oppressed, is taking you away from spiritual connection.  When one finds oneself looking outward and comparing oneself to others, this is the time to stop and look inward.  Ask “what is it in me that is out of alignment with love and freedom?”  The solution to problems outside oneself are found within as we are all interconnected.
This is a long detour from where I was going, but a valuable stream-of-consciousness and I hope you’re staying with me.
Men want to understand women.  There is a lot to be gained through better connection with women (friends and lovers), and also through accessing your higher self and past lives.
I’ve learned that women are incredibly sexual and sensual and designed to absorb a great deal of energy, both good and bad.  Pretty much every woman is carrying around a lot of pain and sadness, and the healthy women have learned to utilize this as grounding energy (while in unhealthy women it shows up as stress, tension and acting out behavior).  Women carry a lot of emotional energy which serves them well and are extremely intuitive, which often puts women’s energy at odds with men who are more attached to their rational.
Interestingly, men have a naturally lower capacity for handling energy, emotions, pain and sexual excitement than women.  This shows up in paradoxical dynamics – men often seem “out of control” sexually, precisely because men have a low capacity for carrying energy (need to “release”).  By connecting with memories of my past lives, I’ve learned how to expand that container more (even though I’d been practicing I was still comparatively undeveloped).
Unfortunately in the West, women have shut down huge parts of their energetic and emotional systems to be more like men.  There are a lot of theories as to why this is, but the correlation between spiritual oppression and female energetic and emotional disengagement cannot be ignored.  I’ve noticed in other countries where spirituality is much more clean the energy is flowing freely and very powerful.  Then here in the West, everyone’s turned into energetically dysfunctional men.  Then we spend thousands of hours and dollars trying to “find spirituality” when it was our birthright from the beginning.
This disconnect is something my past lives cannot help me with.  My female past lives were all open in their energy, even if their sex lives were not entirely fulfilling for other reasons.  They have no ability to comprehend the energetic self-castration that has gone on in Western women, and thus offer little help for how to help women out of this phase.  About the only advice all my past selves offer in this regard is “keep evolving and shine your light more and more.”  Certainly this will inspire higher vibrations which will dissolve the lower issues.
Some big personal lessons that apply to everyone:
You are far, far, FAR sexier, attractive and inspiring than you think you are.   In a way this is obvious.  The ego is not capable of seeing our true potential because our egos are small and very limited.  The collective ego is even worse, because it contains deliberately oppressive structures.  The invitation here (joyfully accepted) is to deeply explore, activate and shine that higher self.
Women are INCREDIBLY sexual and energetic.
Assume every negative thought about women is a personal projection that can be easily fixed through inward-looking and you’ll be on your way to amazing success. Women are great mirrors and projection screens.  Instead of reacting to the projections, or beating yourself up, use this gift as an opportunity and transform.
Everyone has their journey for a reason – release judgements, prejudice and pride and connect to your own journey.
